Day 149 – Tuesday 28th January Nepal

Late morning as I had trouble sleeping last night. Spent the day just walking around the city, a bit more than I had planned as I wanted to go to Durbar Square but ended up in a completely different area as I misread the map. No big deal though, no rush innit!

I eventually found my way to Durbar Square though. Lots of interesting sights here and in the surrounding streets. It’s a bit too busy for my liking though, too much traffic and everyone beeping their horns. One bike actually crashed into the back of me, I swore at him a bit…

I spent the evening hopping around bars again, nowhere good once again. I think I need to stay in hostels more, to meet people and to save some dollar! I did a lot of research into Buenos Aires though, I’m really looking forward to getting to Argentina. I am looking forward to the food there especially! Nepalese food is pretty boring, just momos and daal bhat…

    I love momo!
And I love Nepal. Are you going to go trekking or rafting? If you do, use Himalayan Encounters – they’re awesome guys. Tony & Niraj who run it are super nice – they’ll look after you.
